How to use the Scrabble Cheat Board:

- If you’re playing Scrabble, choose the dictionary. If you aren’t the the dictionary is auto-selected for you.
- Enter your letters in the Your Letter Tiles form field and click Search.
- Choose a word from the list that is displayed to the right of the board.
- When your opponent plays a word, make sure and key it in.
- For a Blank Tile that has no point value, just use an UPPERCASE letter.
- The list shown on the right side on each search will not only tell you what words you can spell with your letters, but it also calculates the highest point valued words playable anywhere on the board with your letters.
- Prepare to win every single game you play. You can’t lose, using Scrabble Cheat Board.
Great site
How do you read the word list it makes for you? What do the X and Y stand for? I can’t seem to find the spot where some of the words they make fit on my board. Thanks.
The X and the Y can be ignored. Those just tell you where on the board the first letter of the word start, meaning the Row 7, Column 3, etc.
As you roll over the words in the wordlist on the right side, you will see the words appear on the board in the place where they will be played.
If you click on the word, it will stay on the board, as if you’ve played it in that position.
You can click another word in the list to change it.
You can also see where the word list being played versus words already on the board by the dashed lines around the letters.
Finally, for a BLANK TILE, use the space key. So if your rack is a, b, c, d, (blank tile), f, g enter your letters as: “ABCD FG”
When a blank tile is used, the word list will show that tile by a CAPITAL letter, which has no point value.
If your opponent plays a blank tile you can also enter that onto the board manually by using an CAPITAL LETTER.
Hope this helps.
I think the reason the x and y coordinates are confusing everyone is because you count the first row/column as zero. In most spreadsheets, the first row/column is counted as 1. It was confusing me until I realized that I should start counting rows from the top left corner box as zero and then count down for x, then to the right for y, again counting the box I am in as column 0.
I have found several errors… not big ones but errors. The first one is the word count counts for the letter count for spaces for example. h is 2 but if you use a blank for h it still counts it as 2. there was also a combination double word double letter that didn’t add the word up right on this board but was right on the game. I will be happy to inform you of these errors if you just let me know where to send the errors.
Is it possible to save the boards? I hate to have to keep retyping each and every entire game every time I get back onto my computer. I usually have multiple games that are ongoing for several days at a time.
It is not possible at this time, but we are actively working on it.
Thanks for commenting and adding your suggestion.

It is possible to save boards. You need to put the a name in the space by where it says save board. It saves it and you can go back to it. Put the name of the person you are playing in and you save it, but do not forget to put there words in before you play your next word.
Thanks for this board it is a great way to learn how to spell words.
Hey can it be possible to show what tiles are left to pick from as well?
How do I download this program to my computer so if I have to reboot I will not lose a game entered into the board?
David,
Thanks for using the site. At this time you cannot download the program. We are working on implementing save features so that you can create a login and save your boards.

Hi Admin
Excellent site ! I just want to know if there is way to type Danish / Swedish words as well ?
Thanks for the feedback! We are working on additional languages currently. We appreciate you using our site. Please check back for new dictionary updates.
Awesome utility, looking forward to the save board feature. Hopefully we can save multiple boards with this feature (Simple data dump of a character array should be sufficient, no?).
One thing I noticed is that navigation is slightly unwieldy. I would prefer to enter a board linearly, using spaces to skip to the next tile if the current one is unused. However, apparently space is an unrecognized character and won’t continue to the next tile regardless.
You will be able to save multiple boards. There is an unlimited number once your account is created. You can also delete any saved board at any time and name them anything you wish.
As for the board navigation, it does seem clunky at first. The way it is designed is to recognize whether you are entering a word horizontally or vertically, after the second letter, then it automatically focuses on the next empty space in the path of the letter you are spelling.
Thanks for the visiting our site and providing your excellent feedback.

As far as that goes, simply loading the form from a string stored on the database could be implemented.
E.g. something like this: http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/jslibs/saveFormValues.js
I don’t know how much data will be required to save each board (I anticipate no more than a kilobyte or so each), and the implementation is actually rather simple in practice.
I dont understand what you are suppose to do when you have a Blank Tile it says put in an uppercase letter but when you do that it turns lowercase. I dont understand, why not change it to a ? instead
Tyler,
Sorry that our instructions are not clear.
When you are entering your letters in the “Your Letter Tiles” field, use a SPACE for a blank tile.
It is true that if you enter an UPPERCASE letter in this field, it switches to lowercase.
When you enter letters on the BOARD directly, use an UPPERCASE letter.
Entering letters on the board directly allows you to manually enter a blank tile that you or your opponent has played on the board, that holds no value for future plays.
You will also notice that once you enter a SPACE in the Your Letter Tiles field (for a blank tile that you have), the list of words that appear in the right column will have an UPPERCASE letter to represent using your blank tile in place of the given letter.
Hope this clears things up and thanks for using our site!

You said ” You will be able to save multiple boards. There is an unlimited number once your account is created. You can also delete any saved board at any time and name them anything you wish. ” My question is this….. How do you create an account? Every time I come to this site it always brings me straight to the board itself with no option to navigate anywhere else except to this page. Am I over looking something?
No, it’s not implemented yet. Seeing as this seems implemented with wordpress, i’m not entirely sure how this will work, but it should hopefully be coming soon.
How about a board for Literati — yahoo’s version of the game.
The board is exactly the same as WWF; but it has different scoring.
Would be a huge help!
Thanks
anything here?
Can you add the board for Spell It please? WP7 version of Scrabble. Here is a picture
We will put this in the queue of things to add.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! Very nice work!!
Now all you need is a paypal link for us to make donations into,
and a mobile version for android, naturally!
Great site…You need to make an android/iPhone app…now! You could easily sell it at $.99 to 1.99…I wish you well and good luck!
could you please provide a “remember me” box so I do not have to sign in everytime a come back to your site. Thanks.
We are working on adding this functionality now.
Thanks for using our site!
Board saving is finally here! Check it out at the very top of the website! 😉
It would be nice if when you highlight the word on the right for your choice you could click on it and it would automatically populate the board.
This is how the site works now. If you hover over a word in the list on the right, is shows where it can be played on the board. If you click it it places it on the board and removes the letters from your rack (leaving the remaining letters so you don’t have to rekey those on your next turn.) Also, if you click the word a second time it removes it from the board.
It must not be working for you. What are using to access the site? PC, Mac, iPad, etc. and what browser are you using?
Thanks for using the site and for the feedback. Good luck.
great site glad your back. alas every thing is back to normal except for search comes up no solition found help
